Self Enrichment Program
Overview
ETC believes that the heightened focus on self-enrichment programs, life skills, education and training to not simply be a market trend but an evolutionary leap in human consciousness that compels individuals (and groups of individuals) to accept the fact that healthy and holistic self-development is of crucial importance to the fulfillment of one’s life purpose (i.e. success) and directly affects the sustainability of healthy communities and beyond.
ETC’s Self Enrichment Program prepares participants to live purposeful lives that positively contributes to themselves and their communities.
ETC’s Self Enrichment Program is engineered to strategically engage and support the individual learning and development needs of youth and adults of all ages. ETC’s Self Enrichment Program provides a wrap-around-approach that includes the following components:
- One-to-one mentoring
- Individual Coaching
- Life Skills/Self Enrichment
Self Enrichment Curriculum:
The goal of ETC's Self Enrichment Curriculum is to provide useful and applicable Life Skills Training (i.e. effective listening skills, leadership skills, team/social skills, career preparedness, learning skills, critical thinking, etc) and Prevention Skills and Techniques Training (i.e. effective communication skills, domestic violence aptitude, emotional awareness and control, etc).
The Self Enrichment Curriculum is developed in a modular format. Each module represents a cumulative self development phase that addresses fundamental human development life stages and levels of learning. Each module provides excellent opportunities for participants to cultivate and develop the traits and characteristics of effective citizens on an internal and external level.

Individual Life Coaching Services:
Self Enrichment Program participants are provided the opportunity to work with their very own Life Coach. The goal of individual life coaching services is to assist and support program participants as they integrate and apply new knowledge, skills, and abilities into their lives through the support and resources of a Certified Life Coach. On average, program participants meet with their designated Coach every 3-4 weeks for two (2) hours throughout their participation in the Self Enrichment Program.
ETC's full-time Life Coach staff work directly with program instructors and mentors to support and monitor the ever evolving need(s) of each and every program participant. Life Coaching is the most unique and effective component of ETC’s SEP. Life Coaches assess, track, and monitor program participant’s execution of their Self Development Plan. This is the most results-oriented component of the program.
Traditional Mentoring Support Services:
Program participants are matched with a mentor. Mentees and mentors are paired according to set criteria such as: background, interests, goals, personality, and more. The goal of traditional mentoring services focuses on the growth and social development of program participants such as: Promoting the development of healthy caring relationships, providing academic support, and recreational learning activities.
